Nestled in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Antione’s Restaurant continues on as a family enterprise. When Antione Alciatore opened his doors in 1840, he had no idea five generations later, it would still be in the family. He had no idea his creation of Oysters Rockefeller, would become a culinary icon. In memory of Alciatore's contribution to international cuisine, in 2017 Antione’s Restaurant named January 10 as Oysters Rockefeller Day.
